As for Perry, can you imagine the kind of dollars and term he will command if he hits the open market?
I actually think the Sens are reasonably well positioned to go after him given our favourable cap situation, but he will clearly command a Spezza/Karlsson type contract from someone.
He can only command what the market will bear. There is a new CBA, and thus players contract terms will not be a long or high as they were previously.
