Wow. Hand over the guy who's closest to taking over Zhitnik's role on the blueline with the blueline in disarray <i>and</i> the Sabres only top 9 forward with any size when they're one of the smaller teams in the league <i><b>and</i></b> one of the few Sabres with speed...who're all under 24. This does nothing to build for the future, simply shuffles players, including one who's yet to show he can produce without Keenan's prodding.

Regarding the original post:

Huselius holds no interest for me. He's a non-physical scoring winger, a position the Sabres are awash with (Afinogenov, Dumont, Satan, Kotalik, Pominville, Hecht). Pyatt's one of the few Sabres forwards with the size to compete in today's clutch-n-grab style NHL. Florida is trying to build toward the future and despite what some may think, Buffalo's primary focus has been on building toward the post-CBA future as well. The deal doesn't further that end.
