Completely agree.

Highly ranked college d-men usually become good NHLers too, whereas its a crap shoot with the junior ones.

And college players are usually very intelligentNHLers. Don't know if it has to do with the education, but I'd imagne that balancing a rigorous academic, travel, and hockey-related scgedule helps mature and mentally prepare them better.
