The problem lies within the fact that this team cannot execute a competent rush up the ice.

Watching the Islanders carry the puck through the neutral zone and make passes that open up ice in the slot frustrates me beyond belief. Why can't the Rangers make plays like that? In the years I've watched this team, they've never been able to make plays like that. I couldn't even tell you why. Probably the lack of good passers on this team.
