He could be that long term LW for Stastny we've all been craving.

Imagine if we kept Staz, put Drouin on his wing and used O'Reilly/Landeskog as our shutdown line?

McGinn - Duchy - PAP
Drouin - Staz - Jones
Landeskog - O'Reilly - Downie
McLeod - Heard (for lack of better ideal #4 defensive center) - Bordeleau


Too bad our defense still isn't even Calder Cup caliber in that scenario.
Don't get me wrong any one of those players would improve our team, but based on what I have seen I prefer MacKinnon and Barkov over Drouin. Though it is very, very, very close.
