With Washington's trade for Zednik, the likelihood of any trade for a right wing is basically zero. And if there was a sliver of a chance, they'd probably look at Bondra for a third the price of Mogilny.

Neither of Mogilny/Malakhov contracts is a sensible fit to the Caps, from the perspective of anyone save Devils fans, unless he comes wrapped around Gomez.

Rafalski is a player I could see generating some interest from Washington, however. The Caps have need of help at defense and scoring center.
