The score of that game was 7-1. The Flyers were drained, actually led 1-0, but the last game of a 6-game road trip and three games in four nights caught up to them. It was only 3-1 past the midway point and the Flyers scored to make it 3-2, but the goal was blown away by the cheery Bob Myers who then called a penalty on the Flyers. The momentum changed at that point and the North Stars almost immediately scored.

Minnesota was also an awesome home home, one loss in about 20 games at that point and their crowd could be electric when the opponent was a top team or rival.

The teams met later in the playoffs and Bill Barber had one of the best series ever, both offensively and defensively, he was phenomenal. That series was among the most lopsided as I recall in terms of penalties, 40-15 (or something similar), in favor of the North Stars, it seemed the Flyers were always on the kill. One of the North Stars' players said it was the best defensive show he'd had ever seen.
