The mixing of the D is a great sign.
Prior to this game, the D looked to be in stone.
Atleast we are trying new things and seeing if they stick. Gards will be up soon. I look at the Marlies stats everytime they play; but always have to remind myself that it is a totally different game down there. Even Gardiner said it himself, something along the lines of "The AHL is a more difficult league to play in, because it doesn't flow like the NHL does" It really does make sense, for a high IQ dman....It would be harder to create plays. It's unreal comparing the 2, the NHL is by the book...90% of the time players can throw the puck to areas, without looking, and know a teammate will be there.
