He's been mediocre with Klein, and pretty good paired with Ellis. That's a problem, because once again we have 3 guys who are fine as 3rd pair but short a top/2nd pairing guy; just like the 1st year Klein played 2nd pair - he was a bit over his head. He's not physical enough to play bigger minutes with Ellis. He still lapses back into the "look around and see where the play is" guy too often; which I didn't notice very often his 1st go around 2 years ago. He is moving the puck well, consistently, although he's had rough games, too - but that's a young/learning thing.
