Actually, it's not, and it's this kind of defeatist attitude that leads to some of the goals and him just giving up on plays when he thinks there's a very low chance he might get it. Case in point was Schenn's save the other day. Most goalies would lunge at the puck, because all they have to lose is a bit of energy, whereas he seemingly decided in that instant that the puck was in the net anyway and he's just going to stay put.
