There's no denying Plekanec plays harder minutes and is the better defesive player.
But offensively Eller seems to be better player.

The way I see it, more Eller on offense: Good Thing.
More rested Plekanec to play the harder minutes: Good Thing.

Dumont, Plekanec and Gionta can be 3rd line. When Bourque comes back he replaces Dumont to make the same line from the beginning of the year.

In the meat time Ryder, Eller, Galchenyuk can be a strong 2nd line.
