I would suggest The Triple Crown. On 7th ave, 29th or 28th. Just past Mustang Harry's Sally's. Doesn't get nearly as crowded as the other places, good beer, good food, decent prices for NYC. For a 7pm game, if you get there by 6 you should not have a problem getting a table, getting fed and getting to the game on time.
