After a quite a bit of thought I would do long term at 3-3.5 and short term(2-4) at 4.25 max. Either deal would be front loaded(as much as you can in new cba) so a buy out would be easier if neccessary.

With the contract structure of the team yakupov gets his big contract in 2 years, rnh in 1 year, and hopefully we can get Schultz signed to a kulikov/del zotto/subban type contract and we should be ok especially if the cap raises.

Preference would be 3 years 10-12 million but I'm sure he could get more than that.
