Ballard has been playing around 13 to 15 minutes a game in the games he played in this year, right? and about that as well the previous two seasons
his cap hit is 4.5mil, yes or no?
for the past three season he has been the 5-6 d-men on the canucks? Correct?
during the cup drive he was a healthy scratch more often then not? correct? h played only 10 games in the playoffs
last year he was injured? Correct?
Not many teams have 2.5 million d-men as part of their third pairing D partners? Correct?
Canuck fans for the past two seasons have been saying Ballard will bounce back under a new coach and new system—that is opinion.
Ballard's stats and contract tell a different story— looking at capgeek.com I don't see many teams that have a 4.5 million cap hit as the third pairing
With his Florida stats wasn't he paired a lot of the time with McCabe?
Ihave never been a Ballard fan, since he was with Phoenix and my opinion has not changed since he has moved onto other teams. Because of his contract and what he is doing in Vancouver, he is of negative value and a case could be made for the Canucks to buy him out and spend money elsewhere
