If we can sign high end talent then I am all for that and letting the rookies get more experience at Bridgeport. However if we just sign mediocre over the hill free agents, I feel like i'd rather just see the young players get NHL experience and grow together instead Of watching stopgaps every year.

There is a risk though of playing too many rookies, resulting in many losses and establishing a culture of losing that has been way too familiar for us islander fans for the past two decades.

Ah, the joy of being an Isles fan.
