The Gaborik pass out of the zone to DZ sums up our offense nicely. Even with the right idea and talented players, we can't execute the simplest play. A player like Gaborik going across the blue line to DZ on the PP should be effortless. It's like brain surgery for this team whether the guy passing is Gaborik, Girardi, Richards, Del Zotto... It doesn't matter. It's an example of a play we fudge over and over that virtually 90% of players in the NHL make effortlessly 99% of the time.
