Was at the game. Quick notes: Subban was terrific, just couldn't expect him to be that fluid, skilled, dominant... made some sloppy, over-eager plays -- but he's even more impressive, commanding in person than on a screen. Keeps it up for another two years and he'll be a Team Canada type, perpetual Norris trophy candidate. Price is even cooler, silkier than one expects. Galchenyuk looks a little lost right now, behind the play, and his one good chance you could see the nerves tighten. But he'll be fine. Gally works harder than anyone else on the ice. And DD is a step slower than you'd ideally want a player of his kind to be. Tinordi? Had your heart in the mouth when he touched the puck in the first period, but he pulled it together. Wish he were a stronger skater-- more Hal Gill than Larry Robinson potential. But awfully sweet to see him get a point.
