Datsyuk's offensive game isn't even in the same universe as Crosby's.

I think you missed the point of what I was trying to say.

As a side-note, Datsyuk isn't as good defensively as Fedorov. He might have the flashy takeaway statistics. But Fedorov could eliminate elite scorers from the game. Datsyuk has never been at that level. In fact, Datsyuk tends to not be matched-up against the opponent's best forward. That is usually Zetterberg's job.

This is why I consider it a great injustice that Zetterberg has 0 Selke Trophies and Datsyuk has multiple Selke Trophies. In my opinion, Zetterberg has always been the better defensive forward.

Zetterberg may not have the takeaway statistics that grab the attention of the hockey writers who vote for the Selke. But if you watch the game, which alot of these writers don't, then you would see that Zetterberg has a far greater impact on neutralizing the opponent's offense.
