In Kitchener they are sure other NHL clubs are interested in him and he will play AHL next year.
It would be insane not to sign him. And from Reider's perspective there is little to be gained by going back in the draft.

Reider is 20 right now so he can play in the AHL next year.

I don't know the state of the German National team, but I almost expect Reider to be at the WHC.
He is too old for his ELC to slide.
