Very Revealing

Found shot totals for all of the playoff games, so only need the one table this time.

The Maroons and Rangers played a 0-0 tie in the first of a two game total goal series.

The Canadiens and Hawks tie was 1-1 in the second game of their total goal series. It finished 1-0 Montreal after 60 minutes, but OT was needed as the series was tied at 3 goals each.
Very revealing. Two game total goal format changes the way the first game is played - objective becomes goal differential as opposed to winning.

Still this did not impact the SOG/60. Regular season to playoffs saw a drop of < .5 SOG/60.
