I'd be in favor of mortgaging a bit to get Ryan. He's 26 and signed to a pretty good deal. I'm guessing this would be the classic, player, a pick, and a prospect type of deal.

In that case, I'd be good with Brassard, Savard, and LA's first round pick for Ryan. We'd be getting the best player in the deal for once.
