my point is over the long haul that lineup is awful. the cream rises to the top or sinks to the bottom.
First off it was a response to an overly simplistic way of looking at the roster and making conclusions from that alone and which was patently false.
Perhaps against other conference foes only, yeah we probably see the 'cream' sink to the bottom over the long haul. But against divisional opponents like CGY and MIN? We've dominated possession against them, yet like last night struggle to create enough chances. The difference between us and them is not just Kesler. That's putting way too much responsibility on his absence when we have a very good 1st line plus a wealth of two-way players and arguably the deepest D-corps in the league. Not to mention the goaltending... Even without him there's still enough good players on this team that they shouldn't be struggling like this.
