Is winning a championship not more important than the success of Mike Ribeiro. Good for him, he has 25 points, but he won't be around when we win the Cup.

The media's focus should be on supporting the team, giving the fans and readers the right facts, and delivering their INSIGHTFUL opinions without bias. If they cannot do those things, in english or in french, than they have no place covering the Habs. Stirring up controversy and playing games with out best players is not the way to earn respect.

If these guys earn the respect of the players, than they will become far more credible. The only guys in the room who must feel safe are Sheldon Souray and Mike Ribeiro. The rest of the team knows that whatever they say could be spun way out of control.
