At the hippodrome though, the metro is near by. They can upgrade the public transit in the area, open some arteries like Cavendish. It can be done, and we do have the man power to build it, and the people to fill it. The only thing is they need to clean up this mess with corruption and get something done as a city.

If you build it they will come
Imagine tens of thousands of fans walking back to namur metro or driving out of the parking lot onto the decarie after each game. They would need to improve accessibility and capacity to deal with that kind of traffic... that alone is a big investment.

And we all know how awesome this city is with infrastructure projects. It takes them 10 years to build a simple overpass and an extra highway lane over 3 times original budget.
