It's sad, really, but hey, our late picks can't all turn into NHL regulars.
I agree with the last part. But I can't help but think that he was thrust int a whole new place, a whole new game (EU vs. NA hockey) and then when he didn't rip it up off the bat, he was benched, then demoted. But it's very possible he just stopped progressing. There's a reason he's a fourth rounder, not a top 3 pick, despite the chance that he could've had the skillset and success of a top pick.
