I mentioned it earlier, but guys like Talbot do wonders for mentoring guys like Couturier, Laughton, and Cousins about what it's like to play in the NHL. Too many fans are willing to trade Talbot for that second round pick instead of looking at the experience that he has to offer to the young guys coming into the lineup over the next couple of years. It also doesn't hurt that he's still a pretty good player on top of that.
