Faceoffs and PK will not be the reason we struggle in the playoffs against a physical team like Boston or Ottawa.
That's assuming we'd struggle against them. I don't see them shutting our speed down easily. Boston has had bigger teams than us over the years and we upset them, we beat them, and made them crap their pants when they were favored to win. They swept us as well but that was more due to us being completely depleted due to injuries and all the controversy around our team.
FO and PK are important aspects of a game. Improving them is great.
Parros would be sitting in the press box during the PO.
Getting Halpern doesn't mean that size won't be addressed either. Not sure why people have to hate on this pick up (when it clearly helps in two facets we needed to improve on) just because size wasn't brought in.
What if in a week we add Clowe, will Halpern who helped our FOs and PK then be a good pick up??
So long as Halpern does his thing, it's an improvement over our current 4th line center.
