The 2008 team was the only Habs team in the past few years with luck. No injuries (until the playoffs), Kovalev, Markov, Plekanec and Streit, Higgins and Kostitsyn all playing some of the best hockey of their careers. Actually everyone seemed to be "on" that year except Ryder. Well the 2010 playoff run certainly had that element, but the season leading up to it was anything but lucky.

I don't really feel that this year. We are getting injuries and inconsistency, it's just that there always seems to be someone else ready to step up. That doesn't mean we don't have work to do, it just doesn't feel like a flash in the pan.
