Regular Season:
13 points in 11 games
(1.18 PPG), +1
*concussion*
1 point in 7 games
(0.14 PPG), Even
*shoulder injury*
10 points in 27 games
(0.37 PPG), +2
Playoffs:
4 points in 6 games
(0.66 PPG), -3
So all statistics considered he ended with 0.54 PPG, very good for a 37 year old blueliner. But he hasn't reached 50 games in either of his last two seasons, and he isn't getting any younger, so the most money I'd give him is $1 million for 1 year. I don't expect him to score 45 points like he was on pace for last year, mainly because he wouldn't be on the PP with Forsberg and Gagne.
But I think Bouillon or Dandenault would have to go for this to work, and I don't see that helping us very much as they both have 3 years left on their contract and Desjardins probably couldn't get mroe than 2 years out of anybody.
