I would like to see Iginla tell the Flames he's okay with be traded. Help the team rebuild a bit while chasing a Cup with another team while also deciding how and where he wants to spend his last few seasons. I would hate to see him sign a 2-4 year deal with the Flames knowing they're unlikely to compete and fade away without having another chance to win the cup.
If he accepts a trade now, he can always resign in the summer.
Iginla says he dont wanna be a rental so im thinkin he wants to resign with the team he chooses to go to and the perfect team the Boston Bruins. They will resign him to replace horton and give him a chance to win a cup in the next few years yuuupppp!!!
