Costa Rica protesting to FIFA the conditions of the game in their lost to US the other night. Snow in Colorado/visibility issues they say the game should never had been played. BTW they lost to the US 1-0.
Playing conditions and whether a game should be terminated or not played are a Referee's decision by the Laws of the Game and FIFA should not have any say in the matter (but we'll see).
Have to laugh at Costa Rica protesting the conditions at a game in the US when Central American teams have no problem with the US being hit by D cell batteries, bags of urine, bottles of beer from their fans in the stand when they play at the Central American stadiums or the polluted air at Aztec stadium. Hey what's good for the goose is good for the gander, that's the benefit for the home team in selecting their venue of choice to host these games and why the US always likes to opt for the colder locations to limit not only the other teams fan base but also expose them to conditions they are not accustomed to. US also noted that the selection of Colorado and its high altitude as the venue was in part in preparation for next week's game in Mexico at their high elevation.
