I never pay much attention to it. Pro scouts scout games. That's their job. They probably keep up to date with all teams during a season and doesn't only scout players they are interested in. Besides, with every team having every game on video they probably use video to scout potential trade targets as much as seeing them live.
Yeah, how often have scouts been an indicator of a pending trade? Almost never.
