We have other needs than to trade a first, a top D prospect and possibly a roster player for him. We need a physical Dman and an upgrade on the third and possibly the fourth lines. I'm a big chemistry guy and inserting Iggy would compromise that.
This Iggy would be a 30 goal scorer with Crosby ... people need to stop this crap. There is no given.
I totally get where you're coming from, I agree chemistry is huge in a team sport like hockey. But this guy has scored 30+ in every single season he's been in the league (11 straight times). If anyone is a lock to score 30+, it's Jarome Iginla.
And he's done it every year, without a 1st line Center. Every. Single. Time. His best Center was Craig Conroy. Let that sink in for a moment, lol.
