Only thing I can think of is that I tie my left skate first. I always prefer to have some sort of warm-up... meaning wrist shots/snap shots on either the empty net or our goalie... but I don't always have time and sometimes the refs cut the warm-up short because our games can start pretty late.

Definitely don't stretch... ever. I've actually read that it makes you MORE likely to get injured? Not sure if this is true, though.
