On youtube, check out the video of Kharlamov's goal late in the first period against the New York Rangers on December 28, 1975. Four defenders are lined up along side each other on the blue line as Kharlamov approaches. Kharlamov just blows through the middle of them untouched and walks in and scores a goal against John Davidson in goal. Its hard to imagine Datsyuk duplicating that feat because he lacks the speed to do it.
You are way overrating Kharlamov's speed compared to Datsyuk. It happens often due to Datsyuk's unconventional skating style. He is fast and he pulled pretty similar feats off too. Btw, Kharlamov wasn't that fast on that move, just elusive as always. Change of pace, nice fakes and the D never moved actually, just watched him. Pretty much the same Datsyuk is doing at times.
