I love some of these suggestions.

You hate the idea that an individual effort decides a team game, yet many of you propose going to a 3 on 3 format, which is still dimishining the entire concept of team play anyway. You have 2 more guys on the ice per team than you do during a shootout. I bet none of you would complain if a penalty shot decided a game. That's still an individual effort, yet no one complains about that.

Continuous OT is even worse. That has no place during the grind of a regular season. What happens if a game goes to 4OT and one of the teams has a game the very next night? Players would end up too fatigued. It's the anti-shootout. Great in the playoffs, terrible for the regular season.

Bring back ties. Really? Who wants to see games end with no winner?
