The Hawks are in great cap shape for the next 5 years even if you give Toews and Kane $8 or $9 mil a year.

They are going to have a bunch of player in their first or 2nd RFA saving lots of space.

Just take a look at the contracts rolling off and the prospects coming through. Bolland's contract should be done and either McNeil or Danault should be able to fill his spot.

Same can be said for Clendening and Johns for Hammer and Oduya
