Bouwmeester takes up time and space rather nondescriptly. He doesnt really hit. He doesnt score alot. He does not make any huge gaffs. I don't know how to describe that. Maybe super Paul Martin, circa New Jesery years not Pittsburgh or maybe Dan Girardi. Steady and unspectacular. The issue with Bouwmeester is that he was hyped to be great and paid as such.

Yandle isn't great in his own end, makes poor reads, and turns the puck over and that is in Tippets conservative defensive system. I would be scared to watch him in Lavy's pinchfest system. Don't get me wrong, I think Yanlde would be a great add, if the fire Laviolette, but I don't like the price. Maloney is just too tough to negotiate with because all that he has to due is keep budget. The Coyotes could finish last every year and unless they win the lottery, nobody would notice especially in Phoenix. I Bouwmeester would be cheaper and after watching the junk this year, steady and unspecectacular is fine by me.
