Doesn't this have to be Bolland's last year? He has proven he cannot play the #2 center and the Hawks have competent replacements as the #3 center (Shaw or Pirri and Denault or McNeil down the road).

And before someone says that Bolland is better than the #3 the Hawks have, he isn't when comparing their cap hit. Bolland can be replaced and his $ spent on the #2 center. I don't know who that is but you can definitely trade for him this year, keep Bolland for the remainder of this year, and then trade him in the offseason to free up space. The Hawks are in the position to either get a #2 center rental or someone with a couple years left as long as their cap hit is not too high. You got hope TT can be that guy in 1-2 years.

And I don't get this talk of Iginla. He would be nice but there is no way the Hawks should give up the assets to acquire him. Now if Washington falls out, Ribiero would be incredible as the #2 center. Could you imagine this:
Toews, Hossa, Saad
Ribiero, Kane, Sharp
Bolland, Shaw, Bickell
Mayers, Frolik, Stalberg

That would be the deepest 4 lines in hockey. Now if Crow can stop the softies....
