My prediction:
Will work his *** off, through the AHL and eventually make it to the big club, just like Ryder.
He will have a great rookie year, runner up for the Calder, always working hard, just like Ryder.
People will praise him for working through the system despite being a later round pick, just like Ryder.
Then he'll have a good year, but not perfect...Will play through a really horrible injury but not miss time because he's a hard worker and had to fight for his ice time his entire career, just like Ryder.
Then some mediocre defenceman will be walked away from in ARBs and people will be screaming to trade him, for no particular reason, so we can make space for said mediocre defenceman, just like Ryder.
