Neither AMD or nVidia video cards are supposed to perform better on Intel or AMD mobos or processors. It's supposed to be platform neutral. Any performance differences should be based more on the quality of any parts you buy.

If you use on-board processor video, AMD video is better than Intel. Intel processor architecture is considered better than AMD (on strictly the processor part). Depending on what you do, your results may vary.
