Then I guess the thread should just be locked since only one line of thought is accepted on a discussion board. I am looking at Crawford's career as a whole, and he had proven nothing beyond being an average goaltender.
Not saying Emery is a #1 goaltender, but come playoff time, we need to go with the guy that gives us the best chance to win, and I have seen nothing from Crawford in big games that gives him the automatic nod. Emery has more experience much deeper in the playoffs than Crawford also
Oh there are a few of those here. You're exactly right. This time around, Q can't afford to repeat the mistake of gifting either goalie the starting job. If Hawks go down in the 1st round again this season, it may cost Q his job.
