That's a bit different from what he proposed. The former statement can not be true if the latter is false. If the former is true, then the latter must also be true. The former being true guarantees the latter being true via the rule of inference known as "modus ponens." The same could not be said about Heyoooo's argument. Formal logic can be challenging!
