Robinson too was skinny and not strong on his skates and needing of defensive positioning skills when he was taken in the SECOND ROUND of the 1971 draft, but he hit his potential.
If Beaulieu falls SHORT of his potential, he may still be a 30-40 pts guy with limited defensive value, but that is definitely not the best he could turn out to be.
I am online with this, Letang was not seen to have this ceiling either. IMO he will turn into a mix a Vlacic and Letang which is great for us... He has until Markov is done to be ready for big minutes and from the looks of it Suban will have already became a top 10 D in the league by then ... (probably is today).
