Stars goaltender commits to Niagara University:
Lincoln Stars goaltender Jackson Teichroeb has committed to play college hockey at Niagara University beginning next season.

Teichroeb is playing his second season between the pipes for the Stars and has posted a 15-10-2 record to go along with a 2.79 GAA and .902 SV%. He has won each of his last four starts, compiling a 1.74 GAA and .944 SV% over that span. The 20-year-old began this season winning each of his first seven starts and won eight of his first nine games. He is tied for third among USHL goaltenders with three shutouts this season.

The native of London, Ontario won 18 games for the Stars last season, three of which were by shutout. Teichroeb began his USHL career during the 2010-11 season with the Dubuque Fighting Saints and posted a 14-6-5 record. He has accumulated 47 victories over his USHL career and is two games shy of 100 for his career in the League.

Sioux Falls Stampede defenseman Vincent Muto is also committed to Niagara University. The school is a member of Atlantic Hockey and qualified for the NCAA Tournament this season with 12 USHL alumni, more than any school in the conference; Carsen Chubak (Tri-City Storm), Patrick Divjak (Waterloo/Sioux Falls), Ryan Rashid (Sioux City Musketeers), Kevin Ryan (Waterloo Black Hawks), Dan Weiss (Lincoln Stars), Chris Lochner (Muskegon Lumberjacks), Sam Alfieri (Lincoln/Green Bay), Doug Clifford (Des Moines Buccaneers), Kevin Albers (Omaha/Muskegon/Green Bay), Isaac Kohls (Muskegon/Tri-City), Cody Campbell (Cedar Rapids/Fargo), and Nick Cecere (Lincoln Stars).
