J-BO - 1 year left on his contract
Yandle - 3 years left on his contract

J-BO - $6.680 mil cap hit (Blues likely will be making some moves this summer)
Yandle - $5.520vmil cap hit, a bit friendlier and more valued for the on-ice performance.

J-BO - Hasn't hit a 30 point plateau since coming to Calgary (on pace for close to it again this season)
Yandle - 1 season on the 30 plateau, on pace for 40 points again this year.

J-BO - logs average 27 toi on a much weaker defensive system.
Yandle - Averages 18-22 toi (lacking on the defensive end) in a much stronger defensively structured team.

Yandle produces better offensively than J-BO with a lesser amount of minutes. He's a guy you put on your powerplay and can still be reliable defensively.

With that said, if Yandle was on Calgary, I'm pretty sure he'd be playing the PK as well. No offence to the Flames organization, but without Bouwmeester, you have Giordano and Brodie to build around.

Just some quick little tidbits. Feel free to add if you must.
