Look at his stat lines from the previous poster, 8 points in 34 games. All these kids are talented players. Most can do amazing things with the puck. Difference is being able to do it night in and night out and he hasn't been able to do it. You want to see progression in any young player and that really hasn't been the case with him. I just don't see him as an answer.

Look, at the end of the day, Wilson and Smith look to be the future in the pivot for the top two lines. Unless we can acquire someone who can bump Smith down, that is probably our future whether we like it or not. Spaling will probably be our third line guy. Watson will probably move to wing to play a top 9 role for us.
