People were saying that Fort Wayne would never move out of the _U_HL (and it's renamed successor the IHL) because of the PHPA situation -- the CHL is actually already represented by the PHPA.

Apparently some money changed hands once the Frankes decided to play in/with the CHL, and the PHPA issue went away -- which is probably all the PHPA wanted in the first place, was monies they felt they were owed that were not paid when the Frankes left the IHL (the original one, not the recent "resurrection") back in 1999.

So, clearly no longer an issue, as the Komets played in both the CHL and ECHL in the last three seasons, both of which are represented by the PHPA.
