At this point, you try and offer him 4.5M to 5M per, on a 3 years contract.
The thing is, nobody can possibly believe his game will suffer from getting slower and slower over the years. His skating has always been a deficiency and he's managed to become a pretty darn good player despite that.
Let's close the loop and keep him for good.
