There was such an uproar to get him up by fans, media, his agent that Carlyle was left with no choice but to call him up. So now he isn't ready, and can't go down to the marlies to get playing time.

Have we learned nothing about waiting until young players are truly ready?
And I know I'll get the "he played great last year" argument, but it was a completely different system where offense was king, and the GA was amongst the worst in league.
The kid's only been playing defence for about 6 years, it's going take some time. Relax.
